As an Outbound Sales Development Representative you will be in charge of reaching out to target organisations in order to generate meetings with key decision makers. You will be using online and offline outbound channels such as LinkedIn, cold calling, industry events, and personal networking to generate those meetings. This is therefore a “hunter” type of role, in which proactivity, persistence and courage are required. Growth Hacking techniques will be of value for the role too. You will be supported by Business Analysts who will help run the market research needed to identify target companies, people and get contact details. After you generate a meeting, the Business Development Representatives (BDR’s) will take over to guide the prospects along the sales cycle down to the contract closing.
⦁ Generate weekly meetings with key senior roles at target customers through a combination of online and offline channels (LinkedIn, cold calling, industry events, and personal networking)
⦁ Coordinate Business Analysts work to help you identify and pre-qualify target customers for new sales opportunities
⦁ Hand over key prospects to the Business Development Representatives (BDR’s) to guide them along the sales cycle down to the contract closing, with your support
⦁ Sales Back-office support: updating CRM, supporting in reporting of key KPIs
⦁ +3 years experience in Enterprise Outbound Sales and related lead generation activities
⦁ Proven track record of meeting your sales / lead generation KPIs
⦁ Bachelor degree
⦁ Brave, persistent “hunter” attitude to chase for target organisations
⦁ People skills: emotional intelligence and empathy to understand prospects need’s
⦁ An entrepreneurial, proactive attitude, with ability to own projects independently
⦁ Mission-driven mindset to have a big impact fight climate change through technological innovation
⦁ Professional English written and oral communication skills (C1)
⦁ Understanding of the electricity markets, renewable energy procurement processes and sustainability agendas of corporations
⦁ Experience selling SaaS products and operating in a software company
⦁ Experience in entrepreneurship, intrapreneurship and new business model definition
⦁ Understanding of blockchain technology and IT solutions
⦁ Spanish, German and/or French written and oral communication skills
