A power purchase agreement (PPA) for 345 MW of wind power was announced by Apex Clean Energy and Plug Power.

Plug Power, a leading provider of turnkey hydrogen solutions for the green energy industry world wide, and Apex Clean Energy, have announced that they will be working together to build one of America's first commercial-scale wind farms.

The PPA will provide 100 percent renewable power directly to a new hydrogen generation plant. Furthermore, the hydrogen plant, which Apex Clean Energy and Plug Power are co-developing, will be the first and largest wind-supplied hydrogen project in the United States.

Both companies are looking to collaborate together to develop cleaner forms of alternative fuels, such as hydrogen gas (H2).

The project is key to the goals of both companies and is aligned with the decarbonization objective they share.
